At the beginning of human cognition, stories existed as a way of communicating information. Then eventually we started to wonder at things we could not observe, imagine things outside the scope of our communities, found myths, legends and religious beliefs, explore morals and values and what it means to be human. Civilisation grew and continues to grow. Because of the power of stories early humans were able to unite larger and larger groups under a common cause. We no longer look at the stars and simply see a group of flickering lights. We look at the stars and ask, where did the stars come from? How did they get here? What are their stories?

We look at ourselves and wonder the same thing.

…and I have pretty low standards.

Being easy to please probably doesn’t make my reviews particularly provocative but I just want to talk about cool shit man.

I believe every story has value, regardless of whether it resonants with me or not. Storytelling is like releasing these little pieces of magic, escapee fireflies that illuminate even the darkest corners. Capturing them, even for a second, is bound to set your heart aglow.

I have my net ready. Do you?
